Fakhr-e-Alam >> Update! The revival of Fakhr-e-Alam! Falam is the new Image of our very famous 'Bhangra Pao' rapper. His newest album "Falam Connection" is out and has done some good business. Falam (short for Fakhr-e-Alam) has recently quoted to have said that this 4 year gap between his last album is due to the fact that Falam wanted to do something different and something new. Indeed this album is different and new as well. His previous album "Malang" was quite different as well. It seems Fakhr likes to do some experiments and this is good as public demands variety. 'Falam Connection', is not a Bhangra Number! It has a mixture of Qawalis, soft and slow numbers and of course, spirited and lively tracks which are a hallmark of Fakhr. "Husn Waloon" and "Direct Connection" are both Qawali style numbers full of halla gulla. "Dharti Ki Kasam" is a patriotic number which does not carry the same weight as his previous similar mood performance "Na Chedr Malangan Noo" carried. "Shikway Gillay" sets an all different mood. It is an attempt to provide a soft, serene and romantic flavour amongst vibrant numbers. "Talaash" is another number addressing social problems which is good in getting the message through. "Ishq" is another notable number in this album and has the potential to create some impact. Other songs may include 'Fana' and 'Zindagi' etc. All in all, Fakhr's 'Falam Connection' offers a variety of listening pleasures. Some of them are good while some are plain impressionless numbers, but if you want something different then you can try the falam connection.

Fakhr-e-Alam >> Profile Fakhr-e-Alam, a Capricorn, was born on 19th January 1976 at Lahore, Pakistan. He is a graduate in Arts and likes Flying, Aero Modeling, Sky Diving, Scuba Diving and Collecting Aviation Memorabilia. His favourite passtime is watching movies and hanging out with friends. His favourite sport is Cricket and Basketball. Fakhr started his schooling in Islamabad, and then went to school in the USA, while his father was posted in the United States Congress. His passion for acting and cricket took him to Lahore his birth city, where he started his college life at the prestigious Government College Lahore. Fakhr has handled many business ventures during his professional career. His TV hosting career started in 1994 with a pop music show called Music Channel Charts. His debut film 'Very good duniya very bad loag'has won him a National Film award. His second movie was titled 'No paisa No problem'. His TV shows include Music Channel Charts, VCD zabardast, Pepsi Top of the Pops, Game junction etc. Apart from the films and TV shows he has also acted in many Tele Plays. He did his first tour in 1996 when he went to U.K and had the opportunity to perform at the world famous Wembley Arena London and the Nynex arena Manchester.
